The Village Green at The Pinehills

ThinkFURST was hired to imagine, design, and implement a new vision for the Village Green with a keen eye on walkability, convenience, retail spill-out, and interesting things to do.

In phase one we transformed the grand lawn, the centerpiece of the Village, into a beer garden with pop-up retail, food trucks, and introduced new amenities including a firepit, live music, and family games. During the 2020 pandemic the beer garden, with its flexible design, was quickly altered into an outdoor dining room to serve the adjacent restaurants.

There are many more ideas on the burner. So, stayed tuned for what’s ahead.

The Project:

The Village Green is the town center of The Pinehills 3000-acre community. It is a charming collection of retail stores, a food market, several restaurants, a spa - surrounded by residential homes and a boutique hotel.
